RIVER FISHING We fish the Kenai River both the upper and middle. This river is a world renown fishery and features all types of salmon depending on what run is in the river Kings are early in the season starting mid May to end of July, and sockeye runs from mid June to mid August. The latter months of the year are for silvers. The prime time to fish for rainbow trout and dolly varden is September to mid October. Also, we fish the Kasilof River for the infamous king salmon. This is a small river on the Kenai Peninsula that runs into the ocean and features 20 to 60 pound fish and some larger ones have been caught. We fish from a comfortable twenty foot drift boat and all fishing gear is provided. There is no thrill like catching a king salmon! NOTE: EACH PERSON MUST SUPPLY THEIR OWN FOOD AND BEVERAGES. Also, for each persons comfort be sure to bring along any medications, clothes for layering, light weight gloves, camera, and a CURRENT ALASKA FISHING LICENSE.
